Divergent primers and convergent primers were used to detect the circular transcripts and linear transcripts of PLCE1 in both complementary DNA (cDNA) and genomic DNA (gDNA). The results indicated that circular transcripts of PLCE1 could only be amplified in cDNA by the divergent primers (Fig. 1G)
