异体受精 cross-fertilization 为自体受精的对应词，也称杂交受精。对植物来说，亦称异花授粉（ cross pollination）。主要是指不同系统间的受精而言，也包括不同个体间或异株间的受精，甚至在特定的条件下，还包括同一植株不同花间的受精（自花受粉）。异体受精是动物的一般受精方式，植物也广泛的存在。异体受精作为育种的方法受到普遍的重视。
