【求助】ncbi上面显示的蛋白质分子量问题求助

我现在在做一个蛋白，命名为fkbp38，按道理应该是38kd。因为同家族的fkbp12为108aa，约12kd

但现在在ncbi上找到的序列，人的有413个aa，显示的分子量为44-45kd左右

这是啥原因呢？

是的，呵呵，不好意思，很久没有上来了

Perhaps that is how people name it historically based on apparent molecular weight on SDS-PAGE. The calculated molecular weight is just the theoretical size for the deduced peptide based on DNA sequence. The protein can undergo post-translation modification, or can be truncated ect.
