GENEMAN of LASERGENE

GENEMAN is the LASERGENE module for DNA, protein, Genetic MedLine (American National Library of Medicine, Bethesda, MD) and structural (Brookhaven) database searching (see Note 1 ). Newly derived DNA sequences and their protein ORFs should routinely be checked against the relevant database. It can also be helpful to search the DNA database with PCR primer sequences to determine if any false priming is likely and to check that the primers will detect all the intended target sequences.
