Although histological techniques are frequently used to study inflammation, precise quantification allowing an analysis of the dynamics of the inflammatory response is often hard to achieve. This chapter describes the application of intravenously injected radiolabeled antibodies and leukocytes for investigating endothelial activation, adhesion molecule expression, and leukocyte recruitment.
