请教各位高手：CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs)中的CdSe/ZnS 起什么作用？“The amount of Cd element inside the labeled cells was immediately measured by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP）”以及后面的“To avoid the variation from efficiency of deliverers, different treating times were utilized in order to achieve the efficient delivery of QDs as recommended by the user's guide in the individual routes. The amount of Cd element measured by ICP was 0.0163 pg for one million of hADAS labeled with QDs by Pep-1 (Pep-1 labeled QDs, LQ), which was higher than 0.006 pg for those labeled with QDs by PolyFect (TQ). ”该怎么理解？ICP检测Cd的意义是什么？谢谢！！！:)

CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs)中 quantum dots (QDs)即量子点是核心，起荧光标记作用的主要是它；CdSe/ZnS 是量子点表面的一层包被物质，其主要作用是是在QDs外层形成高带隙的“墙”，以约束电子的非辐射越迁。通过ICP（电子耦合等离子体质谱分析）测定可以测得细胞内Cd元素的含量，从侧面反映进入细胞内的量子点的含量，不知以上理解是否正确。
