Sharing Expression Profiling Data with Gemma

We describe a method for analyzing and sharing gene expression data using a Web-based system, “Gemma.” Gemma is designed to support meta-analysis in a collaborative framework. Gemma allows users to log on, upload their data, annotate and analyze it, and share the data with others. Users can then compare results across public data sets or other private data sets. We also briefly review alternative approaches for sharing and meta-analyzing gene expression data.
