　　为化学结构上属于肽的激素之总称。一如甲状腺激素释放因子那样系由三肽所形成的小分子，以及如促乳素那样为蛋白质的高分子。广义上，同甾类激素相比，与甲状腺激素、肾上腺素等属于氨基酸衍生物的激素也包括在这一类里。
