growth arrest就是cell cycle arrest 吗？

growth arrest：Protein involved in growth arrest, a phenomenon occurring when a cell does not proceed through the cell cycle.为生长阻滞;生长停滞;生长停止。是指不管用什么办法使细胞生长阻滞。而文献见得最多的就是像wild-type p53 protein 等蛋白可以有此作用。
但是cell cycle arrest ：The process by which the cell cycle is halted during one of the normal phases (G1, S, G2, M).比较限定于对于G1, S, G2, M几个期。

从题目来看：growth arrest意指cell cycle arrest.
细胞生长抑制，英文表达我看得最多的是"growth inhibition or growth suppression".
growth arrest至于最准确的意思还得回到原文。
