Image Analysis of Chromatin Remodelling

Chromatin packaging plays a significant role in regulating gene transcription. Study of the higher-order packing states of
chromatin by image analysis at the light microscope level, especially when validated by methods of molecular biology, immunochemistry,
and/or immunocytochemistry, enabled the detection of changes involved in the processes associated with or preceding alterations
in transcriptional activities. Here, we recommend and describe the use of relatively simple methods for staining and detecting
chromatin remodelling by image analysis.
