Use of Transmission Electron Microscopy
Overview | |
A protocol describing the use of Zeiss EM9-S transmission electron microscopy is presented.
Material | |
Zeiss EM9-S transmission electron microscope
Procedure | |
1. Familiarize yourself with the basic operations of Fixation, embedding and sectioning of materials for viewing in an electron microscope. 2. Insert and Remove a Specimen from the chamber. 3. Turn on the high voltage, check current levels and turn on the beam. 4. Find and center the beam. 5. Use magnification controls and condenser. 6. Use binocular viewing screen 7. Take an electron photomicrograph. |
