循环系统 circulatory system 亦称血管系。是使血液或淋巴流通，把由外界摄取的营养和体内产生的激素等分配到身体各部，以及进行气体交换和将废物排出等的管系。所以，循环系统对身体中的所有细胞都有密切关系，对这些细胞的机能有重要的影响。脊椎动物的循环系统分为血管系和淋巴系。无脊椎动物则没有这种区别，可统称为血管系。血管系由心脏和血管构成，淋巴系起始于毛细血管域，经胸导管通到血管系。在发生学上，循环系统起源于中胚层的间充质。循环系统，特别是血管系与呼吸器、消化器等的实际状态相关联，可分为环形动物型循环系、文昌鱼型循环系、鳃呼吸型循环系、肺呼吸型循环系四种。
