诱发电位 evoked potential 系指通过各种刺激在中枢神经系统内引起的电位变化，与脑电的自发活动相区别。是在细胞外记录多数神经元域电位（ field potential）的用语。在大脑皮层上除能记录到各部位电刺激的诱发电位外，光刺激和皮肤刺激的诱发电位也能记录出来，如果运用电子计算机加法平均法，就是从人头皮上也能明显的记录到微弱的诱发电位。
