同步加速器简介

同步加速器是做蛋白质晶体 X-ray 衍射必不可少的大型设施。

同步加速器是一��形的粒子加速器,使用磁�(���粒子在�行中可以改�方向)及��(加速��粒子)��行中的��粒子束同步化操作。粒子�旋加速器使用均�的磁�及固定�率�化的��加速��粒子,如果改�其中一���同步粒子�旋加速器,�者都改���同步加速器。藉著改���使��粒子�得能量,同步加速器中的粒子束具有固定�道,在抽真空的�境中(�存�)不�的�行。同步加速器中的�存�包含了直�段��曲的部分,前後相�在一起。因此在��上和粒子�旋加速器有很大的不同。而�存�中�曲的部分�有�多磁��施使粒子束改��行方向;直�段的部分��置高�共振腔使用高能量的微波提供粒子加速所需的��。

粒子在粒子�旋加速器中,�中心以螺旋�道�行到腔壁�,粒子�旋加速器的最大半�限制了粒子最後所�得的全部能量。另一方面若以增加磁��度的方式�提高加速能量,也有其�限。所以有同步加速器的出�。

同步加速器可以克服粒子�旋加速器所遇到的��,可以使用一��小的管子��送粒子束,管子旁可���多聚焦用的磁�或其他�施。
